LOLRIOKART: The Shopping Go-Kart
LOLriokart by MIT student Charles Guan is powered by nickel-cadmium batteries and max speed up to 25mph. The project took him about a year and cost about $300. Video after the break.

James May a presenter on BBC’s Top Gear alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond broke the world record for the longest slot car-racing track. The record attempt was filmed for a series called James May’s Toy Stories on BBC2 later this year. More pictures after the jump.
