Sony Ericsson has announced a new phone called the Vivaz. It is S60 5th Edition running phone with 8.1 megapixel autofocus cam with image stabilization, face detection, and 720p video capture(wow cool), a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen(640×360), FM radio, AGPS, WiFi, TV-out at VGA resolution. You can choose from 4 different colors including Moon Silver, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue, and Venus Ruby.
“The Sony Erisson Vivaz will be launched this quarter in both North American and global 3G variants with quadband EDGE”

Mobile Phone uses Coke as battery

Designer Daizi Zheng has come out with a eco friendly phone concept for Nokia which is powered by Coca-Cola. The fuel fuel cells generates electricity from carbohydrates(sugar) in the Coke and it can run on any sugary water not only coke.
Daizi says: The concept is using bio battery to replace the traditional battery to create a pollution free environment. Bio battery is an ecologically friendly energy generates electricity from carbohydrates (currently sugar) and utilizes enzymes as the catalyst. By using bio battery as the power source of the phone, it only needs a pack of sugary drink and it generates water and oxygen while the battery dies out. Bio battery has the potential to operate three to four times longer on a single charge than conventional lithium batteries and it could be fully biodegradable. Meanwhile, it brings a whole new perception to batteries and afternoon tea. “

50 HTC Touch Smartphones gathered for the Christmas

Each of the HTCs ia addressed by a computer to co-function and create a choral arrangement ~ assigning each phone a tone, the mass is transformed into an aural form that appears to come alive.”

Sticker Phone by Liu Hsiang-Ling

The Sticker Phone concept is designed by Liu Hsiang-Ling. Since most of us place our phone near windows for better signal reception, Liu put on a solar panel to the back of the phone and giving it a slight arch so that it can stick (via suction) to the window glass to absorb sunshine for power. Here comes the XP phone, not a concept, it is for real. This xpPhone is made by China’s In Technology Group aka ITG. It is a 4.8-inch touchscreen slider that has netbook-like specs, powered by some “AMD Super Mobile CPU”, and running on Windows XP operating system. More pictures after the jump.
