iPhone controls the Real Car

People invented many applications for iPhone, but an app to control a real car will be a little dangerous. WaterlooLabs is turning an Oldsmobile Delta ’88 into a remote control car in just 4 weeks. We built our control systems using a few motors, potentiometers, a Compact RIO embedded controller, and LabVIEW. We then set up wi-fi communication so we can drive the car from an iPhone as well as from a modified Power Wheels truck. Video after the jump.
