They wanted to come out with something that omitted an ambient glow but then also functioned as a piece of furniture. Bad news for those who is going to get or who already owned Nexus One. Google has announced that they will be closing down their Nexus One web store. Says the company Vice President Andy Rubin – “while the global adoption of the Android platform has exceeded our expectations, the web store has not…it’s clear that many customers like a hands-on experience before buying a phone.”
