Patrick Rochon is an award-winning photographer with a taste for music who has shot the likes of Beck and Björk. With over 15 years of Light Painting experience in photography, he has developed a unique method of painting with light onstage. He created the multi-media performance group Light Warriors Tokyo and Liquid Vision. With these groups he performed in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, New York, Montreal and all over Japan including The World Festival of Sacred Music created by the Dalai Lama. First prize winner at the Nikon photo contest in Japan, Patrick has done photography for various fashion and rock magazines, CD jackets, DVDs, posters, internet and other promotion materials. Clients also include Toyota, Honda, Yamaha. Born in Montreal, Canada, Patrick has lived mainly in Tokyo, New York and Paris for the last 15 years.

In complete darkness with the camera shutter open. You move lights on and around a subject with pen lights, flash lights or anything that emits lights. For a single take exprosure times can vary between 5 seconds to 30 minutes.
